We all hope Ken George has some tricks up his sleeve to make this game a gateway to the thrills of the second game as well as to the hit series Automobilism.

Shamus Young from GameSpot had the chance to play around with Twisted Metal III. But for all its upsides, twisted metal 3can be an older game, as battle concept is not necessarily new. Thrill ride or tragedy? With tons of car combat action and a great replayability factor if you try to play the game the right way, it's hard to pass on the opportunity to take advantage of the high replay value. The pedigree certainly makes it a strong contender with classics like the really hot Fast and the Furious and Shenmue. On the surface, Twisted Metal III seems to be a pretty safe bet.
